BIO-Europe is the leading trade fair for the biotechnology industry across Europe and beyond, bringing together industry players in biotech, pharma as well as emerging tech companies and investors to explore latest trends and forge partnerships. Technopark Zurich welcomes a new operational leader: real estate expert Marcel Gurrath will take over as CEO of Technopark Zurich, combining strategic vision with extensive management experience. He succeeds Karin Looser, who has successfully shaped and developed Technopark Zurich over the past twelve years and will step down at the end of October 2025.

cellvie, a pioneer in mitochondrial-based therapeutics, has secured fresh funding from both existing and new investors. With the additional capital, cellvie will accelerate the clinical translation of its lead program in kidney transplantation, and to further hone its pipeline.
