QBIT Capital closes oversubscribed first fund

With the closing of its Fund I at CHF 29 million, QBIT Capital has strengthened its position in the venture capital market. Fund I aims to invest solely in 12 to 15 Swiss tech startups addressing global problems. The firm has been growing, with six Swiss companies in the portfolio. The closing of its oversubscribed round is a further testimony to the firm’s commitment to elevate the Swiss startup ecosystem.

Eleven deep-tech start-ups shortlisted for the ZKB Pionierpreis Technopark 2024

The panel of judges has made its shortlist: From 45 applications, eleven start-ups are still in the running for the Pionierpreis 2024 – an initiative by Zürcher Kantonalbank and Technopark Zürich – which will be presented on 7 May at Technopark Zürich. Winners can look forward to a check for CHF 100,000 at one of Switzerland’s most significant deep-tech awards.
